new assortment of earrings in our display

First show of the year!

February 1st was our first show of the 2025 season. The first time to debut our new logo and dainty earring designs. But sometimes it not the sales you make-it's the connections you make. I always surrounded by interesting, new vendors.

At this show in Milwaukee, I met a vendor who engraves the most gorgeous floral designs on wooden cutting boards and the like. Her aesthetic drew me in to be honest. Her booth, her products, her personality. The whole presentation was A+. Meeting fellow vendors and checking out other booths is a huge part of going to shows-especially in other towns/markets. They call it networking-its literally branching out in a new direction, meeting more new people to expand those branches even further. By following my new acquaintance's business on Facebook I found a few new shows to watch and apply to. Expanding our reach, expanding our network. Hopefully leading to growing Sara Lou.

2025 is going to be the year of major growth-I hope. Breaking new barriers, records, markets. I am spending all the free time I can to learn, pick up new skills, tweak our message, start new sales channels, try new designs. I would love your help. Share our Facebook, website, show off those earrings. Word of mouth is the best advertising we can ask for-and the cheapest.

Every penny counts. Made or spent.

Now with the laser down (may it RIP) I am stuck with the decision of replacing it. I did purchase 2 new types of lasers over last summer-but I am not sure they will cut the acrylic I use for earrings. Which also means I have a huge stash of acrylic that may no longer be useful to us. Guess we will see how this batch of acrylic earrings sell. It may not be a question at all.

I am loving our change to leather. I had no idea it would be this fun. It has totally changed my world. The colors, the textures-visual and touchable-glitter, metallic, velvety, hair on hide, smooth, wavy. There is about everything you could imagine and more.  The designs are endless.

My favorite is this new pair I named Tiffany. (it looks like a little t)

This is where the textures shine to me. Watch for more colors and different textures soon.

The first show is under our belt. Dusted off my artistic eye, found all my supplies, planned a new set up for a new year. I managed all by myself with set up, tear down, and 2.5 days on my own. (PS- I walked around Hobby Lobby for 3 hours...oops)

February is also our anniversary month! Watch for news on a celebration!

PS-did you see the $10 Winter Sale yet??
